Fotona Skin Resurfacing

Combined Er:YAG resurfacing for sun damage, pigmentation, fine lines and texture

Fotona Skin Resurfacing combines ablative and non-ablative Er:YAG laser modes in a single treatment, renewing the epidermis and stimulating dermal collagen — addressing sun damage, pigmentation, fine lines and uneven texture in one protocol.

How it works

The treatment combines a controlled ablative pass (gentle removal of damaged surface layer) with a non-ablative deeper pass (thermal stimulation of dermal collagen). The dual approach addresses both visible surface concerns and underlying skin quality. Tailored to each client at consultation — single session for refresh, course of 2–3 for more significant photoageing or scarring.

Who it’s for

Suits clients with photoageing, sun damage, pigmentation, mild acne scarring, fine lines, and overall texture concerns. Best results on Fitzpatrick I–III skin types; darker skin types treated with adjusted parameters. Active acne, recent isotretinoin use (within 6 months), pregnancy, photosensitising medications, active herpes, recent sun exposure or tanning are contraindications reviewed at consultation.
