It starts with a conversation, not a needle
Your first appointment is a consultation before it is anything else. A qualified practitioner — at Feonix, anti-wrinkle treatments are delivered by GMC-registered doctors and registered nurses — will talk through what you would like to change, look at how your muscles move, and check that treatment is suitable for you.
Expect questions about your medical history, any medications, previous treatments, and allergies. This is not a formality: it is how a responsible clinic decides whether to treat you at all, and how much.
The assessment
You will be asked to frown, raise your eyebrows and squeeze your eyes shut. Watching the muscles in motion is how the practitioner maps where the product would go and, just as importantly, where it would not. A natural result depends on treating the right areas conservatively rather than freezing everything.
What the treatment feels like
The injections themselves are quick — usually a few minutes. Most people describe a brief sharp scratch or a tiny sting at each point. No anaesthetic is normally needed. You can drive home and return to work the same day.
When results show — and how long they last
Anti-wrinkle results are not instant. Movement typically starts to soften over several days, with the fuller effect developing across about two weeks. Longevity varies from person to person; many clients return for maintenance a few months later. Results vary and are not guaranteed.
Aftercare
You will be given simple aftercare guidance — for example, staying upright for a few hours and avoiding vigorous exercise that day. Your practitioner will offer a review so any fine-tuning can be assessed. If anything feels off in the meantime, you contact the clinic, not the internet.
