The Treatment

What lip filler actually does.

Lip filler uses hyaluronic acid — a gel naturally found in your skin — to restore or add volume, define the lip border and bring symmetry to lips that have thinned with age or were always naturally fine. It is not about making lips bigger; it is about making them look like the best version of yours.

At Feonix we use only premium, FDA-approved and MHRA-listed hyaluronic acid fillers, chosen on the day to match your lip tissue and the result you want. Lighter gels give soft hydration and a natural finish; firmer gels give more structure and definition. The fillers we use contain built-in lidocaine for comfort. We discuss the specific product with you at your consultation.

Crucially, HA lip filler is reversible. If you ever change your mind, or in the rare event of a complication, the filler can be dissolved with hyaluronidase, which we keep on-site at every clinic. That reversibility is a large part of why HA is the safest, most controllable way to enhance lips.

The Feonix Difference

Why doctor-led lip filler matters.

Rx

Doctors, never delegated

Every lip treatment is performed by our GMC-registered doctors — not delegated to a nurse, dentist or non-medical injector. The lips sit close to important blood vessels; medical training is what keeps it safe.

½

Conservative by design

We start with 0.5–1ml on a first treatment and review at two weeks. "Done" lips come from overfilling — our principle is balance and proportion, so you leave looking refreshed, not obvious.

Reversible, with safety on-site

HA filler can be dissolved if you ever change your mind, and we keep hyaluronidase on-site for the rare event it is ever needed. Reversibility and preparedness are non-negotiables at Feonix.

Your Journey

What to expect at Feonix Coventry.

1. Consultation and assessment

We take a full medical history, assess your lip anatomy and listen to what you want — then tell you honestly what filler can and can't achieve. If lip filler isn't right for you, we'll say so.

2. Numbing and planning

Strong topical anaesthetic is applied for around 20 minutes. We mark your treatment plan with you in the mirror, agreeing the volume and shape before any product goes in.

3. Treatment

Using a fine needle or cannula depending on your anatomy, the doctor places HA filler at precise points in and around the lips. The session takes 30–45 minutes; most clients rate the comfort at 3–4 out of 10.

4. Aftercare and free 2-week review

Most swelling settles within 48 hours, with final lips visible at two weeks. Your treatment includes a complimentary 2-week review to refine, top up or rebalance if needed.

Common Questions

Lip filler — your questions answered.

How much is lip filler in Coventry?

At Feonix Aesthetics in Coventry, lip filler starts from £200 for 0.5–1ml, and filler dissolve is £250. Every price includes your consultation, treatment and a free 2-week review. Klarna finance is available.

Will my lips look fake or duck-like?

"Duck lips" come from over-volumising and ignoring anatomy — not from lip filler itself. Our doctors prioritise natural balance: improving symmetry, restoring lost volume, defining the cupid's bow and softening fine lines. We start with 0.5–1ml on a first treatment and review at two weeks. The goal is "you with great lips," not someone else's lips.

Does lip filler hurt?

There's brief discomfort during injection, but it's very manageable. All our lip fillers contain built-in lidocaine, and we apply strong topical anaesthetic 20 minutes beforehand. Treatment takes 30–45 minutes and most clients rate the experience 3–4 out of 10 for discomfort.

Are lip fillers safe?

Hyaluronic acid lip fillers are among the safest cosmetic procedures when administered by qualified doctors. We use only premium, FDA-approved and MHRA-listed HA fillers and keep hyaluronidase on-site to dissolve filler in the rare event it's ever needed. We restrict lip filler to our GMC-registered doctors for exactly this reason.

How long does lip filler last?

Lip filler lasts 6–12 months depending on your metabolism and the product. Lips are highly mobile, which breaks filler down faster than static areas. Lighter gels tend to last around 6 months; firmer gels last 9–12 months. We recommend a top-up every 6–8 months to maintain your result.

Can lip filler be dissolved if I don't like it?

Yes. Hyaluronic acid filler is reversible — it can be dissolved with hyaluronidase, which we keep on-site at every clinic. Filler dissolve is £250. This reversibility is a large part of why HA is the safest, most controllable way to enhance the lips, and it's discussed fully at your consultation.
