Because moles are a part of the skin that a clinician must evaluate individually, this page is deliberately about assessment rather than a quick fix. We do not treat a mole on sight.
Any mole that is changing, that looks different from your others, or that is new in adulthood should be assessed. Changes in size, shape, colour, border or surface, and any bleeding, itching or crusting, are all reasons to have a mole looked at. This is not something to self-diagnose. If a mole needs medical or dermatological investigation, we will say so and signpost you appropriately — your safety comes before any cosmetic consideration.
For moles that are confirmed suitable for cosmetic removal, we can discuss the options at your consultation. We never guarantee a particular outcome and we never remove a mole that ought to be medically reviewed first.
