What Happens
Four things, one hour.
- We take your medical historySome medications and conditions affect whether laser is suitable, so we go through this first.
- We assess your skin and hairThe laser targets the melanin in the hair, so hair colour matters as much as skin tone. We check both and set the right settings for you.
- We do the patch testA small test area, in this same appointment. Your first treatment session is booked at least 48 hours later so we can see how your skin has responded.
- We plan your course and price itWhich areas, how many sessions, and what it costs — confirmed before you commit to anything.

Hair grows in cycles, which is why sessions are spaced out — each one treats the follicles that are in their active growth phase at the time. On the face, sessions are usually 2–4 weeks apart. Your practitioner will talk all of this through at your consultation.
