Laser hair removal in Coventry at Feonix Aesthetics, using the Cutera Excel HR dual-wavelength laser — suitable for all skin tones, including darker skin. Genuine medical laser, not salon IPL. Delivered by a clinical team led by Clinic Director Beata Masih.
£50 consultation, fully redeemable against treatments or products.
Not all hair removal is equal. Many salons in Coventry use IPL — broad-spectrum light that is less precise and often unsuitable, or even unsafe, for darker skin tones. Feonix Aesthetics uses the Cutera Excel HR, a genuine medical-grade laser that combines two wavelengths: Alexandrite (755nm) for lighter skin and Nd:YAG (1064nm) for darker skin, with integrated cooling for comfort.
That dual-wavelength approach means we can deliver safe, effective permanent hair reduction across every skin tone — and tailor the treatment to your hair type, skin and the area being treated.
Common treatment areas include:
Alexandrite and Nd:YAG wavelengths mean the Excel HR can be matched to your exact skin tone — including darker skin that IPL often can't safely treat.
Built-in skin cooling protects the surface and makes treatment more comfortable, allowing effective energy levels with less discomfort.
A true laser delivers a single, focused wavelength to the hair follicle — more precise and effective than the scattered light of IPL.
Laser hair removal is widely available across Coventry — but the quality of the technology and the hand delivering it vary enormously. Feonix Aesthetics offers a medical-grade alternative to salon IPL, in a private clinical environment.
Coventry clients choose Feonix for laser hair removal because of:
One appointment, an hour long, at our Coventry clinic. We take a medical history, assess your skin and hair type, confirm the laser is suitable for you, agree the areas you want treated, and carry out the patch test in the same visit. There is no separate patch-test appointment to book.
The consultation is £50, redeemable against your treatment or products. It is not refundable. Your first treatment session is booked at least 48 hours after the patch test, so we can check how your skin has responded before going ahead.
Book a single session, or a course of 3, 6 or 10 sessions spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart, because laser targets hair in its active growth phase. We'll set out exactly what your chosen area or package involves.
Each session is quick — from a few minutes for small areas to longer for full-body. The handpiece uses sapphire contact cooling. You may notice temporary redness or warmth around the follicles afterwards.
Hair grows in cycles, which is why the course is spaced out — each session treats the follicles that are in their active growth phase at the time. Maintenance sessions can be booked afterwards if you want them; your practitioner will talk through what to expect at your consultation.
All laser hair removal at Feonix Aesthetics is delivered by trained clinicians led by Clinic Founder and Director Beata Masih, with 20 years' experience. A consultation and patch test are required before treatment. Course and package pricing offers the best value.
0% interest-free finance available on courses and packages. Discussed during your consultation.

Yes. We use the Cutera Excel HR, a dual-wavelength laser that includes an Nd:YAG wavelength specifically suited to darker skin tones — making safe, effective laser hair removal possible across all skin types, unlike many salon IPL machines.
Laser hair removal provides permanent hair reduction. After a full course, most clients see a long-lasting, significant reduction in hair, with occasional maintenance to manage regrowth. Individual results vary and are discussed at consultation.
Laser hair removal is available as a single session or as courses of 3, 6 or 10 sessions, spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart, because hair grows in cycles and laser targets hair in its active growth phase. Your individual course is confirmed at consultation.
Feonix uses a genuine medical-grade laser — the Cutera Excel HR — not IPL. A true laser delivers a single, focused wavelength that is more precise, more effective, and safer across skin tones than the broad-spectrum light used by many salon IPL devices.
Most clients tolerate treatment well. The integrated cooling on the Excel HR protects and soothes the skin during each pulse, making the sensation far more comfortable than older systems. Any sensation is brief.
