EMSculpt Neo · After Pregnancy · Coventry

Your body did something incredible.
Let's help it feel like yours again.

Pregnancy changes your core in ways no amount of willpower undoes on its own. EMSculpt Neo gently rebuilds the deep abdominal muscles that stretch and separate carrying a baby — helping restore strength, stability and confidence, once you're ready and medically cleared. Warm, unhurried, and led by our clinical team in Coventry.

Consult-first. We check your medical clearance and assess your core before anything else. The assessment is redeemable against treatment.

After Baby

What pregnancy asks of your core — and why crunches don't undo it.

Growing a baby stretches your abdominal wall to its limit. The two bands of the “six-pack” muscle (the rectus abdominis) are pushed apart, and the connective tissue between them thins and widens — a separation called diastasis recti. It's completely normal, it happens to most mums, and it is nothing to feel self-conscious about. For many it narrows on its own in the early months; for many others it lingers, leaving the middle feeling weak, soft or unsupported however carefully you eat or move.

Here's the frustrating part no one warns you about: crunches and sit-ups often don't help — and can make a separation worse, because they load the very gap you're trying to close. The deep core muscles that actually stabilise you frequently “switch off” after birth, and they can be genuinely hard to switch back on by willpower alone.

That's where EMSculpt Neo can help. Each session triggers thousands of deep, involuntary muscle contractions — far stronger than you can create yourself — to re-engage and rebuild the deep abdominal muscles from the inside, and it may help reduce the separation over a course. No crunches, no strain, no downtime. And crucially: only ever when your body is ready and you've been cleared.

Who It's For

The things new mums come to us about.

If any of these sound familiar, you're in good company — they're some of the most common (and least talked-about) parts of recovering after a baby. EMSculpt Neo may help rebuild the strength behind them; it doesn't fix or cure, and we always assess you first.

Whatever brings you in, there's no judgement here — only an honest look at whether EMSculpt Neo can help, and a plan built around you and your recovery.

The Evidence

Measured, not marketed.

−19%

Diastasis recti reduction

Clinical data on the platform shows an average reduction of around 19% in the abdominal-separation gap after a course.

+27%

Core strength gain

Independent studies report core-strength gains of around 27% at three months — the deep strength that supports your back and posture.

+25%

Average muscle increase

Across published clinical studies, patients see up to a 25% increase in muscle mass in the treated area after a full course.

−30%

Average fat reduction

Synchronised radiofrequency reduces subcutaneous fat by up to 30% over the treated area, cleared naturally over 8–12 weeks.

Figures are averages drawn from independent and manufacturer clinical studies. Individual results vary — every post-natal body and recovery is different — and we set realistic, honest expectations at your assessment. Clinical substantiation is kept on file.

Is It Safe Yet?

First, the most important part: timing and safety.

We will never rush this. Your recovery comes before any treatment, and we would rather ask you to wait than treat you too soon. Here's exactly how we keep it safe:

Only after medical clearance. We do not treat before your six-week postnatal check, and only once your GP or midwife has signed off that you're ready. After a caesarean we wait longer — until you're fully healed and cleared.

Never during pregnancy. EMSculpt Neo is not carried out at any stage of pregnancy.

A diastasis & suitability assessment first. Before any treatment we measure your abdominal separation, take a full medical history and check you're a suitable candidate — and tell you honestly if you're not yet, or if another route is better for you.

Honest about what it can do. EMSculpt Neo may help reduce and improve a diastasis and rebuild the deep core — it does not fix or cure it, and it is not a substitute for post-natal physiotherapy or medical care. It works alongside them.

Standard contraindications. It isn't suitable for people with a pacemaker, defibrillator or other implanted electronic device, or certain metal implants in the treatment area. We check all of this at your assessment.

The Recovery Stack

Gentle support for a recovering body.

Rebuilding the core is real work for a body that's already been through a lot. Where it helps, we pair EMSculpt Neo with recovery support so you feel comfortable, not depleted, between sessions.

Lymphastim — lymphatic recovery

Straight after your session, Lymphastim's gentle, medical-grade compression helps your body clear the by-products of the treatment — easing soreness and fluid retention, supporting circulation and helping everything feel lighter and more comfortable.

Post-natal physiotherapy — referral where appropriate

Post-natal physio — including pelvic-floor and core rehabilitation — matters, and we're not a replacement for it. Where your recovery is better served by physiotherapy, or should run alongside it, we'll refer you or work with your physio, so EMSculpt Neo rebuilds strength while your physio supports the wider picture.

Common Questions

EMSculpt Neo after pregnancy — your questions answered.

When is it safe to start after having a baby?

Only once you've been medically cleared — after your six-week postnatal check and with sign-off from your GP or midwife. After a caesarean we wait longer, until you're fully healed and cleared. EMSculpt Neo is never carried out during pregnancy. At your post-natal core assessment we check your clearance and assess your separation before anything else.

Can it help with diastasis recti (abdominal separation)?

It may help. EMSculpt Neo reactivates and rebuilds the deep abdominal muscles, and clinical data on the platform shows an average reduction of around 19% in the diastasis-recti gap after a course. It may help reduce and improve a separation — it doesn't fix or cure it, and it's not a substitute for post-natal physiotherapy or medical care. We assess your separation first, and some cases are better suited to physiotherapy, which we'll refer you to.

Will it get rid of my post-baby tummy?

Your body carried and delivered a baby — the aim isn't to erase that, but to help you feel strong and comfortable in it again. EMSculpt Neo rebuilds the deep core muscles that stretch and separate in pregnancy and may help reduce the separation, which many mums find helps their midsection feel firmer and more supported. Results are individual, and we'll set honest, kind expectations at your assessment.

Is it safe if I'm breastfeeding?

We take a full medical history at your assessment and will advise you personally — please tell us if you're breastfeeding so we can factor it in. As with all our post-natal treatment, we only proceed once you're medically cleared and we're confident it's right for you.

How much does it cost, and is finance available?

A single session is £250 and a course of 6 is £1,350. Finance may be available, subject to status, and Klarna is available at checkout — we'll walk you through the options at your assessment, where your plan and price are confirmed.

Is it a substitute for post-natal physiotherapy?

No. Post-natal physiotherapy — including pelvic-floor and core rehab — is important, and EMSculpt Neo isn't a replacement for it. It works best alongside it. Where physio is the right route for you, or should come first, we'll say so and refer you.

Does it hurt, and is there any downtime?

No downtime. It feels like strong muscle contractions with gentle warmth — the intensity is fully adjusted to your comfort throughout, and we start gently. Afterwards you may feel as though you've done a deep core workout, and you can get on with your day (and your baby).

No pressure, no buy-now. A warm, unhurried assessment to check you're cleared and ready, measure your separation, and — if EMSculpt Neo is right for you — build a gentle, honest plan. Where physiotherapy or your GP should come first, we'll tell you.

Post-natal treatment is carried out only after medical clearance — after your six-week check and with GP or midwife sign-off, and longer after a caesarean — and never during pregnancy. EMSculpt Neo does not fix or cure diastasis recti or any medical condition; it may help reduce or improve abdominal separation by rebuilding the deep core, only ever following a diastasis and suitability assessment. It is not a substitute for post-natal physiotherapy or medical care and works alongside them; where physiotherapy or medical assessment is the right route, we refer you. It is not suitable during pregnancy, or for people with a pacemaker, defibrillator or other implanted electronic device, or certain metal implants in the treatment area. Finance is subject to status.
