Scars come in all shapes and sizes. Whether you’re left with them as a result of a wound, surgery or acne, scars are a natural result of the human healing process. That doesn’t mean they can’t sometimes be unsightly. It’s very common for people to feel selfconscious about their scars, particularly those found on the face. Permanent scarring is commonly caused by interference during the healing process. Picking or irritating wounds or acne can aggravate the skin further leading to increased tissue damage. Despite the permanence of some scars, there are ways you can reduce their appearance. At Feonix Aesthetics, our expert-led team can use microneedling and laser skin treatments to improve and replenish skin affected by scarring.
